Hygroscopic Dampness: When Salt Becomes the Problem
One of the biggest misconceptions in the damp-proofing industry is that every damp wall is being affected by water entering the building. In reality, some of the most persistent damp problems we encounter are caused by salts hidden within the plaster itself.
The property featured in this project was suffering from hygroscopic dampness.
